Directions for your first post.

As you read your book, please answer the following questions in a post:

4. Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. When or how did you have empathy with this character? If you never did have empathy, why not?

Moment of Empathy - Walk Two Moons

I read the book, Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech. 

The setting includes Bybanks, Kentucky; Euclid, Ohio; highways, towns and monuments between Ohio and Idaho; Lewiston, Idaho.

Empathy happens when I can put myself in the position of another. My moment of empathy occurred when Sal realizes she was wrong about Mrs. Cadaver. I have often felt badly after making assumptions about another person. Most people that I know are good, and I feel badly when I assume that they are not.
